Each of them has something I can relate to in some way, but “The Return of the Demon King” is a heart-wrenching experience.
I find myself wanting to think, “When did things change?” and I chuckle at my own thoughts, which I excuse as “It’s just reality.
It was a little sad, a little chilling, and a short story that makes me want to go back for another round.
